Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain.

It may be cold outside but we are turning up the heat at Kiss & Tail. Join us Saturday, February 9 as we explore love in the animal kingdom. How do animals attract a mate and what happens when it’s time to get romantic? See their courtship rituals hilariously played out through actors from The Living Room Theatre. You may blush, you will definitely laugh and you might never look at some animals the same way again!

Kiss & Tail begins at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and live music from A la Mode. Then get ready for an eye opening comedic presentation on jungle love. This adult only Valentine’s event is sure to heat things up!

Playwriting 2 with Ron Simonian
DATES: Sundays, Sept 23rd - Nov 4th (excluding 10/14)
TIME: 7:00pm - 9:00pm (extends to 10pm if there are more than 5 enrolled)
PRICE: $300

Writing 2 picks up where the Intro Class left off. We'll explore the development of longer plays, with multiple characters, making use of foreshadowing and higher stakes conflict to keep the story energized throughout. We will cover the script growth from the seed of the idea to the final draft. Along that journey we'll shape and mold the play through many revisions paying careful attention to the arc of the story; and ultimately coming to terms with making cuts.

We will delve into multiple character dialogue that rings true and crisp. By the end of the class your one act or Fringe length script will be ready to read as part of the Living Room's Writer's Den Series!
