Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been...
A one act play by Carlyle Brown

Presented by Kokopelli Theatre Company, The Living Room Theatre, and the William Inge Foundation

Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been is a fictional account of the demons and dilemmas faced by legendary writer Langston Hughes as he attempts to compose a piece on the night before his appearance before the Senate Permanent Sub-Committee on Investigations on Un-American Activities led by Senator Joseph McCarthy.
