THE BALLAD OF LEFTY & CRABBE

by Brian Huther, Ben Auxier, & Seth Macchi and Ryan McCall
Directed by Rusty Sneary
Musical director Ryan McCall
Choreography by Ashley Personett
Accompanists Jeremy Watson & Eryn M Bates

Set in the early 20th century during the decline of vaudeville and the rise of Hollywood, The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe tracks the journey of an ultra-sharp but down-on-their-luck comedy duo as they navigate the rapidly changing world of entertainment.

This was the third production of The Ballad of Lefty & Crabbe at The Living Room, following its original Fringe run in 2015, and its first full run in 2017. This version featured significant rewrites from previous drafts, and ran April - May of 2019.

“It’s back again: ‘The Ballad of Lefty and Crabbe’ returns to The Living Room for a third time as each revisited writing adds more songs, more laughs, and polishes the plot as the play continues to develop and attract old and new audiences.”

- Bob Evans, KC Applauds
