NO SLEEP NOVEMBER 2021:
VIRTUAL HYBRID EDITION
As pandemic restrictions eased but many still needed to stay home, The Living Room followed up its all virtual 2020 editing of No Sleep November with a virtual hybrid edition, which was performed live in person at The Black Box while also being streamed online. Ben Auxier served as host for both via a video feed from his home in Chicago.
From the event listing:
”5 teams of writers, actors, and technicians will have just 24 hours to create an evening of brand new short plays - never before seen, and maybe never seen again!
The festivities start on Sunday night with a special drafting event in which teams and prompts will be assigned - featuring special guests and a lot of surprises! From there, the artists will split off into different rooms and get to work. 24 hours later, 6 new short plays (~10 minutes each) will be performed.
This year you can join us either in person at The Black Box, or streaming online from home!”
