The Grave

by Forrest Attaway

Two ex-wives meet at the fresh grave of their mutual husband; but they’ll soon find out that his secret dying wish will make for a hell of a day. Worlds collide as stories that span two lifetimes of love, laughter, and death, finally intertwine. Deeply funny and sincerely touching, The Grave is a story of family that captivates the spirit.

This two-act version of The Grave received its world premiere at The Living Room in June of 2018

Love, death, and family intersect in this touching and side-splitting play! This Fringe hit has now been expanded into a full two-act, and now, The Grave by Forrest Attaway runs at The Living Room June 6th - 24th! This run is limited!

“'The Grave' offers irresistible comic writing  (Attaway is very good at set-ups) and philosophical musings that give the viewer plenty to think about on the way home."

- Robert Trussell, KC Studio

It is described as a serio-comedic play while honestly exploring life, love, death and family. The Living Room Theatre's The Grave is an original work that started as a popular Fringe Festival play in 2015. Playwright Forrest Attaway and Actor Peggy Friesen tell us about the production that kicks off with two ex-wives at The Grave of their former husband.
