WRITER'S DEN SERIES: SEASON 7

Our Writer's Den series celebrates and cultivates the talents of prominent and promising local writers in the form of staged readings, workshop productions, and special events. 2016 - 2017 marked our fourth Writer's Den series, and we were floored with the works we were able to showcase, some of which would go on to be full productions in our seasons! The main feature was a fully-staged production of Shearwater by Victor Wishna, which you can read more about here.

January 3, 2017

Useless funnyman Alan Schroeder’s life becomes a whole different sort of thing when Mia, a nine year-old daughter he didn’t know he had, suddenly becomes his problem. This short screenplay in it’s initial stages asks us how we process anger, fear, and resentment, and how we find mooring when there’s only other boats around.
